Join us as a Senior Ops Solutions Manager Europe MedTech/Pharmaceutical, based in either the Netherlands or Germany, and play a pivotal role in delivering market-leading, competitive solution offerings for all Medtech and Pharmaceutical EU Bid opportunities. As a Subject Matter Expert, you will provide critical input in the overall design steps that support the Bid Process.
Your responsibilities will include reviewing and validating cost inputs from HR, Launch, Quality, and EH&S functions before submission to the pricing teams. You will be a key stakeholder in all Solution Workshops and Pricing Strategy Sessions, ensuring the delivery of final design outputs for all opportunities.
How you will contribute
- Ensure that Bid Man, IT, Engineering, HR, QHSE and Operations are aligned and proposing the correct solution and process to deliver on the expected KPI’s, operate within the determined budget and targeted efficiencies, and identify operational risks upfront with the relevant proposed solution.
- Analyzes IRR to ensure costs are captured and aligned to deliver the solution in the timing requested.
- Ensure the appropriate Operational support is provided to Sales /Bid Man and IT functions in delivery of world class solutions in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Proactively identifies future issues/risks and develops recommendations for technology investment/ changes as appropriate to the customer.
- Reviews and offers input into the SOW to ensure alignment and delivery of the solution.
- Provides technical and non-technical business expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and processes that are cost effective and meet customer and synchrony requirements.
- Proactively seeks to build relationships with customers and identifies strategic Customer needs and aligns processes, systems and operations accordingly.
- Highly skilled in managing multiple overlapping highly complex projects and to prioritize competing interests across functions.
- Works closely with Bid Man and IT to standardize best practices in functionality, flow, UAT and reporting.
- Partners with the Global IT, Engineering, Business Development/AC Mgt., Bid Man, HR, QHSE and Operations business unit leaders to drive profitable revenue growth.
- Has expert knowledge of how customer and customer partner functions, IT direction, Customer strategies; provides expert guidance and assistance in prioritizing technology needs; drives and participates in strategic and operational planning for customer(s) requirements.
- Provides input to the Ops VP’s, SVP, and President on the RFQ response, ensures that the Operations team understands risks and issues in the tender, and develops strategies to help mitigate that risk.
Your key qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree; experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Minimum 15 years’ experience in Warehouse Operations within a logistics/manufacturing environment. Significant experience in supporting WMS Implementations and Solution Design for Tech/Automotive greenfield sites or existing brownfield expansion sites.
- Careful about detail, thorough in completing tasks, reliable, responsible, and dependable.
